On May 10, 2013, I received an early mother's day gift. McKenzie came home from school carrying a pink paper with a ribbon. She looked so proud as she handed it over to me and she kept on saying "Happy Mother's Day!". She told me she was the one who colored the rose and even signed her name below. BEST GIFT EVER! May 12, 2013, Mother's Day: I was hesitant to go out because there were still a lot of tasks and hours to finish for the work week but my husband insisted. Heard mass at ATC, there was even a special blessing and prayer for moms at the end of the mass.  They dropped me off at Ton Ton's BF for my much needed Thai Massage, and waited for me at Starbucks. I was kindda craving for something Thai but we opted for Korean Barbecue (again!) in Sam Won because it looked like a great place, it was packed, parking is full and some has to wait for a table. I am able to blog again... Summer is almost over. It's the 4th week of McKenzie's 5 week summer school. So happy that she was able to cope up with her class which is comprised of mostly 4-5 year old kids. Start of this year was a busy one with my virtual clients, wedding clients and some other rakets. May is very busy with a big wedding on the 31st. We had to change our schedule for McKenzie's 930am class. We used to go to bed between 2am-4am, but that is not good considering we wake up before 7am to allow McKenzie enough time to prepare for school. School by the way is just a 5 minute walk from our house. Highlights: February 2013- Wedding in Batangas March 2013- Work Galore April 2013- Boracay, McKenzie's Summer School May 2013- McKenzie's Summer School, Big Wedding in BGC I want to blog about our Boracay trip, McKenzie's summer school and the latest weddi ngs we coordinated. I hope I find time for all of those.

After more than a month of craving for Authentic Korean food, On May 1, 2013, we decided to have dinner at Maru Korean Restaurant in HK Sun Plaza in Macapagal Blvd , Pasay City. The Menu   The Restaurant     These side dishes are FREE! and refillable :) Bibimbap (Korean Rice Bowl with Vegetables and Beef) They grilled it in the kitchen, would've loved the experience of grilling it ourselves. Free Lettuce! Lettuce, Grilled Meat, Kimchi and some other side dishes. Yummm! I enjoyed the experience, I loved the side dishes and lettuce. The grilled meat was ordinary. The place felt authentic. Thumbs Up for: They gave McKenzie a Winnie the Pooh melamine plate. Free and refillable side dishes Free and refillable lettuce Thumbs Down for: Crew not helpful with the menu. Not bothering to ask if we want to grill the meat on our own. Takes a long time to have our iced tea refills
