La Vie Institute: A Place for TOTAL Personality Development

La Vie Institute directly translated from French to English, means "The Life Institute". It is a learning facility focusing on the development of character and personality.

La Vie Institute's Mission: To bring Programs designed to provide the fruits of TOTAL Personality Development training that lets you live "the life" you imagine for yourself and for your loved ones.

Character Development needs to be worked on, NOW. It gives anyone a great advantage regardless of age.

In an ideal world, traditional schooling should intensively work on each student's character development, but, probably because of the demands of academic preparation, character development  takes a backseat in the classrooms.

Today's society calls on everyone to be competitive, to be 'number one' and growing up has become a very serious business. There is an increased likelihood of being victim to bullying or become a bully themselves because this generation has decreased sensitivity.

Most parents worry about fostering their child because they grew up in a different social landscape. Young adults are overwhelmed when there's a need to make big decisions as they enter the real world. They feel unprepared for the competition they have to face when they apply for jobs. Professionals are disillusioned by the rat race and this cycle result into a growing number of discontented, unhappy and fearful individuals.

Because of the needs discussed above, La Vie Institute was created.

La Vie Institute's program is the only one of its kind. It features a multi-layered design that targets all the aspects that enrich a person's habits, values, philosophy, confidence & communication skills.

La Vie Institute offers workshops both on verbal and non-verbal communication; self-mastery for both the performing and fine arts; etiquette and protocol training, among others.

Their programs are designed to develop both intra-personal and interpersonal skills taught in a non-traditional learning space using different approaches and structures.

La Vie Institute keep their workshop sizes small (minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 participants) to
make them engaging, interactive and meaningful for all learners.

Every session is designed with each individual attendee in mind. Activities and materials are designed to fit the profile of each learner.

With the help of the unique and comprehensive assessment that every prospect student undergo prior to their enrollment, La Vie Institute is able to personalize the sessions to cater to the needs of each participant. It ensures that the learning experience is potent and applicable with their goals in mind.

La Vie Institute has a team of mentors who are innovative, and passionate experts determined to equip their students with relevant set of skills required to face life's ups and downs with persistence and renewed confidence.

The mentors come from diverse backgrounds: drawn from early childhood educators, fashion stylists and lecturers, leadership trainers, life coaches, communications specialists and management consultants. They want to inspire each individual to live a life of purpose and fulfillment.

La Vie Institute believes that every individual is unique and has the inborn power within themselves to excel. It is by creating opportunities for these special, God-given traits to be tapped and explored, which makes a difference for a person to discover how they can contribute to the world.

La Vie Institute strive to create learning experiences which aims to contribute to the society. They are powered by a big dream and they serve to teach people to dream bigger and become bigger in doing so.

Art, Music or Dance School Search for McKenzie: Lea De Castro Music Studio & Artist Center

McKenzie turned 2 last Monday, August 20, 2012.

She is displaying extreme interest to singing, dancing and art (color-ing! she would always say). This made us decide to check out the available music, art or dance schools in our area.

Last Sunday, we dropped by Lea De Castro Music Studio and Artist Center Inc in Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite. It is approximately 15 minutes away from our place.

Unfortunately, music lessons are offered only to kids 6yo and older.

They offer Baby Ballet for 3-5 year old kids. The person at the front desk told me they could accept kids younger than 3yo provided she is ready to be left alone in the studio with the dance teacher and the other kids. The Dance Studio is at the 2nd floor and parents can only wait outside. Hmmmnnn, I am not very sure if McKenzie can handle that but she does stay in the middle seats during birthday parties, along with other kids.

I was told we could bring her over to sit in one time for 30 minutes. The dance teacher would provide an ev…
