We have dogs

Ken and I grew up not really loving dogs…
We both knew that… back in February, Papa made us adopt one of their puppies.
We brought the pup home and named him Tony (from the soprano show, tony soprano).

Although we are not that affectionate to Tony, we did our best to provide him with all his needs. Since we rarely eat at home, we bought dogfood for him, we groom him and also bought him a cage… and add to that, ken placed a roof for his cage.

Although he is growing up to be a really nasty dog (must be because he is always inside the house), I would say we are showing him care and love that he deserves.

And even if ken scolds him most of the time, I know that he has a place for Tony in his heart.

Saturday last week, we had our families over for swimming, videoke and tong its— they went home late since there wasn’t enough space for everybody to rest. Ken and I even had an argument that night— must be because of fatigue and all.

We woke up Sunday morning and heard baby doggie sounds near our house. We went down and saw 2 little (as in little!) puppies playing on the lawn.

There was a fat white and black puppy (inverted color of tony) and a white and cream little puppy.  We tried to look for their mom but was unsuccessful.  Ken named them sylvio and paulie, respectively.

Sylvio went away and we never saw him again, Paulie on the other hand stayed behind the pandan plant. We had to take him in because it was hot infront and we felt the need to feed him.  He isn’t taking the food or milk served on a dish yet so we had to use exe’s feeding bottle to be able to feed him milk.

Almost a week since, although Tony seems to be envious of little paulie, I know that they will go along well as they grow.

Paulie and Tony are blessings and we know that another blessing is on the way. Fingers crossed.
